Background:

To be the best for our clients, Treasury and Trade Services (TTS) Operations team has launched a Operations transformation initiative. The initiative has the mandate to build self-service capabilities for clients and  leveraging smart tools to remove manual touch points performed by the Operations team.  This prospect will provide technology leadership to the initiative and enable TTS business and operations partners with technology solutions and delivery. The role will also have responsibility for managing senior stakeholders in Operations, Services and Business organizations

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • As the Operations Technology Delivery Head, the prospect will be responsible for delivering the committed operations productivity targets to our TTS Operations teams in alignment with the global strategy
  • This prospect will be responsible for design and delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives that address business challenges, help achieve organizational goals and objectives. Integrates how the big picture of the initiatives comes together from definition through implementation on implications across the business

  • Ensure alignment with the global operations technology standards in the design and execution of initiative efforts

  • This prospect will work with the business, Operations and Client Services to develop and implement industry path breaking solutions, efficiency models to achieve productivity targets in Operations in alignment with Global strategy

  • This prospect will need to improve collaboration among the teams to deliver against planned productivity targets

  • This prospect will drive innovation, strategy and overall technology governance for the TTS Operations Technology team

  • This prospect will provide site level leadership and guidance to the local Operations Technology team

  • This prospect will partner with internal stakeholders such as business units, service centres, payment ops, etc.. to understand their needs and collaborate with users for solution planning and integration

  • The prospect will focus on optimizing effectiveness and efficiency of our process and IT landscape and continue to inculcate a systemic thinking mind set in the organization

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

  • 10 years experience leading digital and service transformation strategies in complex matrix environments

  • Ability to push an agenda in a matrix environment through influencing and collaboration

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and aptitude to problem solving

  • Experience in defining and executing client experience / Operations Productivity driven transformations

  • Ability to understand the infrastructure requirements of Client Service automation, Operations Automation and business intelligence

  • Strong technology skills in the Operations Productivity space with knowledge on tools like Xceptor, QuickRec, Automation Anywhere, Celonis, etc.

  • Management of Operations and Client transformation initiatives, including ideation, system formulation, project initiation, project execution and delivery

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team operating at the intersection of business, design and digital technologies

  • Proven ability to work effectively with virtual teams across different timezones
