An exciting opportunity exists for a Director - Performance, Clinical and Business Analytics who will be the champion and driver of a strategic approach to performance analysis and benchmarking for the HHS.

The position will provide a strategic and business planning framework to link strategic and operational priorities with on-the-ground activities to monitor accountability and effectiveness of performance optimisation strategies. This will be done through clinical performance reviews with senior management and clinical staff, and integrating activity, costing, funding, performance measures and local service agreements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement an integrated performance and management operating system across the HHS which delivers high reliability performance and strategic alignment of activities. This system will provide front line and management staff with the required clarity and focus to effectively execute strategy and planning objectives and achieve consistently excellent levels of operational performance.
  • Lead and actively participate in the effective project management governance processes for all significant performance improvement initiatives and business cases being evaluated across the HHS and where appropriate provide quality assurance assessments to the Executive on the operating effectiveness of these processes.
  • Develop and implement key metrics across the HHS to review past, current and future performance of clinical and business processes, including tracking both tangible and intangible benefits associated with the improvement processes.
  • Play a lead role in negotiations with all levels of staff for the Target Setting process within the Performance Accountability Framework in conjunction with other key Executives.

Remuneration value up to $159,186 p.a., comprising salary between $133,938 - $139,525 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (DS02) (Temporary full time for 12 months, 76 hrs p.f.).
