GCG Debit Card Product Manager-18050629

Job Purpose:

  • Ensure that the Debit Card portfolio and transactional banking delivers to both customers' needs as well as the organization's goals. Manage the Debit Card product strategy, and maximise volume growth and profitability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver overall Debit Card product from product & business development aspect
  • Manage and develop Debit Card propositions from end-to-end, i.e. system, business strategies, plan execution and usage
  • Manage and provide product support for all transactional & payment functions of Debit card products as well as all transactional related functions including new industry initiatives
  • Campaign Management for Debit Card and transactional banking
  • Product Performance Analysis; including Local market competitors’ offering and performance
  • Quarterly Reporting to network, Regional and Global
  • Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of programs
  • Ensure adherence to all local and global regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders for subject matter expertise
  • Work closely with network associations, analytics and other stakeholders to develop business strategies
  • Engage segments, branches, acquisition channels, marketing and decision management to drive portfolio growth in terms of number of debit cards & transactional capabilities usage
  • Customer Experience Management and complaints resolution
  • Product Incident and Fraud Management
  • Liaise with Operations teams on card plastics delivery and vendor management
  • Engage with IT, ebusiness, Ops and all relevant stakeholders for projects related to Debit Card and transactional capabilities. Work with Technology & Ops in conducting UAT for system enhancements
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are met
  • Tracking of KPIs to measure project performance and reporting to stakeholders
  • Manage customer experience and assist in any product related issue
  • Undertake other projects and activities upon request


Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills:

  • Degree qualifications in finance, marketing or related fields preferred
  • At least 5 years of banking experience in a relevant product/portfolio management, segment or marketing role
  • Understanding of Singapore deposits market
  • Experience working on multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in driving projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
