CHILDREN'S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

£30,401 - £38,046 PRO RATA
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our friendly Children's Occupational Therapy team. The post holder will have knowledge, skills and experience to be able to deliver occupational therapy assessment, formulation and treatment planning and apply this knowledge to the clinical care of children aged 0- 19 who have physical, developmental and social communication difficulties. Full training, mentorship, professional supervision and CPD opportunities will be provided.
The post holder will be able to work alone and as part of a team. The post holder will be responsible for assessing, formulating and developing therapy packages that promote occupational performance and independence in the areas of activities of daily living, play and educational participation e.g. supporting children to be more independent in areas such as dressing, organising themselves, participating in PE, recording their school work.
The post holder will work flexibly with the patients needs, delivering treatment sessions in homes, nurseries, schools, and community venues.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll & Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
