GCG business has embarked on a partnership strategy to grow its customer base, deepen relationship with existing clients and deliver ‘One Citi’ to ICG/CCB clients.

 

In order to grow our customer base, we will be partnering with industry leaders to offer white label/cobrand cards, consumer financing or loans to their customer base.  Our target partners largely include leading financial institutions, durables, digital, payments or e-commerce players.

 

The incumbent will be driving the engagement with country teams and regional stakeholders to grow our partnerships business. Key responsibilities would include building and managing a steady pipeline of partners, ensuring resource allocation to implement partnerships and project management for timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

1.   Engage with countries to create a pipeline of partnership deals and partner with them to track and ensure progress. Put in place a process for streamlining the updates from all countries.

2.   Prepare regular updates to keep key stakeholders informed about progress

3.   Support business development through compelling partnership pitches, solution development and commercial construct.

4.   Review partnership deals – financials, product propositions, customer journey – in partnership with regional stakeholders

5.   Facilitate resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of the partnership – technology, network contracts, head-count, marketing budgets etc.

6.   Track progress of launches and align stakeholders, where required, to ensure approvals, tech development, etc. to ensure timely delivery

7.   Put in place a deal review process to assess the actual delivery in comparison with proforma. Agree on and implement corrective actions, if required, in partnership with the country to meet the goals expected from the partnership.


Qualifications
 

Bachelors Degree

6+ years of product management experience in relevant consumer finance /credit card / payment product industry

§ Extremely strong analytic and program implementation skills required and a working knowledge of various business functions

§  Strong eye for detail & rigor to follow through tasks to completion across multiple drivers & stakeholders

§ Pragmatic problem-solver with independent thinking.

§  Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at one time.

§  Strong interpersonal, organizational, networking & relationship management skills for building and managing partnerships with various stakeholders

§   Ability to work in cross functional teams to drive product/business initiatives

§  Excellent verbal & written communication with sharp presentation skills
