  • We are seeking a Senior Communications Manager (Vice President), who is a great communicator, passionate about storytelling, is tech and social media savvy, and who loves challenges and a fast paced dynamic environment to join our team in Internal Communications.

  • The role will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the regional internal communications strategy for Citi Asia Pacific, aligning and connecting our people to Citi’s business strategy, values and mission. We are looking for a self-starter, who can multi-task and who can act as a liaison and a partner between different businesses and parties within our organization to enhance culture building and employee engagement.
  • This person will be based in Singapore and report to Citi Asia Pacific’s Regional Head of Internal Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and execute communication and engagement strategies to inspire and engage our people to Citi’s most important initiatives, our strategic priorities and mission
  • Instill a better understanding of our shared responsibilities to build a common set of behavior, mindset and goals 
  • Foster a deeper connection between Citi and its employees through engagement programs and campaigns
  • Partner with and act as a trusted adviser to regional business heads, key businesses and HR to ensure the internal communications and engagement strategy aligns with business priorities and overall communications plans, and delivers a consistent tone of voice and style
  • Conceptualize and develop engaging content for a range of different tools and channels to reach a diverse workforce across 17 markets
  • Work alongside our Country Public Affairs teams across the Asia Pacific region and EMEA Consumer Banking markets to roll out global and regional internal communications and employee engagement campaigns, build best practices, and share expertise and knowledge
  • Partner closely with our Global Public Affairs teams to ensure regional alignment in the Asia Pacific region and EMEA Consumer Banking markets with global programs and campaigns
  • Manage the information workflow to enhance intranet sites and keep these updated and current with Citi Asia Pacific strategies and messaging
  • Act as a brand guardian for the region and provide branding guideline advice

Qualifications
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature or Mass Communications with 10+ years’ experience in corporate communications

  • A strong strategic thinker who is equally good at implementing and executing communications campaigns

  • A self-driven goal-oriented person with a “can-do” attitude who looks at obstacles as challenges, has an agile mindset and is comfortable with juggling multiple deadlines and expectations

  • An experienced and mature communicator who is comfortable managing stakeholders at multiple levels, including C-suite leaders

  • Passionate about storytelling and who loves writing, editing, and proofreading, and possesses superior skills in these areas

  • Experience with developing a range of multi-media communications campaign tools, such as videos, EDMs, e-posters, podcasts etc

  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor

  • Integrity, maturity, dependability and a positive professional attitude

  • Working knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Jive and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 would be an advantage
