Diana Children's Nurse, Inverness Salary: £46,150 - £49,447 per annum (pro rata) 37.5 hours per week - full time (part time and job share will be considered) Are you a dynamic children's nurse with the skills, experience and compassion needed to lead and deliver truly exceptional palliative care to babies, children and young people and their families? CHAS and NHS Highland are looking to build on the success of our existing Diana Nursing partnership and recruit a full time Diana Children's Nurse to support families across the region. You will have a high level of 'hands on' experience with children and their families as well as supporting and enabling other staff involved in their care. Additionally, it is a role with the opportunity to use your highly specialised background to inform and influence the local, regional and national delivery of palliative care. You will be employed by CHAS and embedded within the children's service in Raigmore Hospital or Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). This will allow you to work not only in the hospital, but also within our two hospices and across the NHS Highland region through our CHAS at Home and family support services. You'll work across numerous units within Raigmore Hospital or Argyll and Bute HSCP including children's community nursing teams and specialist nursing teams, therefore the ability to work collaboratively to provide a seamless service to families will be of paramount importance in this role. You'll be at the heart of making sure families facing the death of their child do so with the very best care and support around them.
