About the Role

  • Provide executive oversight and leadership of research activities being conducted in Caboolture & Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health Service.

  • Establish and grow Caboolture & Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health Service as reputable facilities in the conduct of high quality health and medical research, including developing and maintaining partnerships with leading health education providers to grow the health training, education and research capacity within the organisation.

  • Collaborate with The University of Sunshine Coast to build a collaborative research structure.

  • Represent Caboolture & Kilcoy Hospitals and Woodford Corrections Health Service at a range of HHS and state-wide meetings and forums with internal and external audiences and committees to promote and advocate for organisational research endeavours including creating and delivering presentations, training and information seminars.

  • Provide advice and support to researchers on resource and operational matters that are critical to the needs of the research study being undertaken and explore and develop mechanisms to increase opportunities and competitiveness for external grant funding.
