Fixed Term Contract until 26th July 2020

Fully Rotational Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated Stroke unit and Gastroenterology Ward at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. You must have a desire to work within Stroke or Gastroenterology and have extremely high standards in providing care to our patients and their families.

The successful candidate will be supported by both our nursing and medical team and essential training for the role will be provided.

Please note this is a Fixed Term position until the 26th July 2020

You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and be enthusiastic and passionate about delivery of high quality care.  As a health care assistant within the Stroke Unit or Gastroenterology Ward your role will be assisting our patients with everyday tasks which involve maintaining a good oral intake, assisting with personal hygiene, and escorting patients to various procedures whilst also assisting both our medical and nursing teams deliver treatment.
