Salary Scale: £45,446 - £51,883
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self motivated midwife/nurse in supporting the women and child health team at Raigmore Hospital.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience as a staff midwife/nurse and can demonstrate personal development, be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and have previous experience in management of staff and services and in doing so ensuring high standards of care.
Raigmore Maternity Unit delivers 2000 women a year and co-ordinates triage for North Highland. It is a consultant lead unit that provides ante natal, intra partum and post partum care, including midwifery ultrasound, day case, triage and high dependence care. The Neo natal Unit has intensive care cots and special care.
The Paediatric Service is also responsible for the provision of care for North Highland. They have a wide range of responsibilities, including day case, triage, clinics, surgery and visiting consultant services; they have a high dependency unit.
The Gynaecology Service and Highland Breast Centre is included in this remit. They deliver a quality service and have developed a number of care pathways to meet patient need and have a number of services that are now supported through clinics and specialist roles.
