Citi is seeking a Legal Line Program Manager to join a team of highly skilled professionals supporting Citi’s retail bank branches and centralized operations. This position works under the supervision of the Assistant General Counsel for Retail Bank Operations and works directly with the Citibank retail branches to assist them on a day-to-day basis with matters requiring legal attention. This position is an integral part of a dynamic team of subject matter experts providing legal counsel relative to bank operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in U.S. banking and consumer finance regulations to join Citigroup's Global Legal team and work directly with various levels of business partners in order to successfully achieve business goals.
Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) preferred
3+ years’ experience working in a corporate legal department, law firm or significant experience in a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required when dealing with the business, customers, and regulators
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
Ability to respond to escalated legal issues that arise from U.S. retail bank branches and centralized operations that including a variety of topics including powers of attorney, bankruptcy, issues related to deposit products, and customer complaints
