Job Purpose:

 

An excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a career within Citigroup and more specifically within the Finance Division. The purpose of the role will be to support the Mumbai Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team with the performance of key activities (as described below).

The Mumbai FP&A team (Headcount: 400) is an integral part of the larger Global FP&A team. The role is within the Strategy & Execution team which looks at all the aspects of transitions management, risk and control, governance, compliance management, continuity of business, records management, information security and internal audit.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Leadership of end to end core deliverables for Corporate FP&A including but not limited to Continuity of Business, Records Management, Information Security, Global Management Reporting, etc

·         Lead the implementation and execution of Business Recovery Plans; understand the current business recovery strategy; ensure full compliance with Citi’s CoB Policy and Standards – document and resolve any instances of non-compliance in a timely manner

·         Develop action plans for policy implementation and ensure compliance with policies and frameworks

·         Execute risk & control responsibilities by leading and working with business units in ensuring delivery of end to end components of policies and frameworks

·         Inventory management & review of compliance control activities such as monthly information sheet, KPI and book of work submissions, reports/review materials/activities review for enhanced controls (e.g. maker/checker), standard operating procedures completeness assessment, etc

·         Training coordination & monitoring of completion of all assigned training to all Mumbai FP&A staff through Citi’s internal training and learning management systems

·         Internal Communication Coordinator with ability to produce and manage broad level communications to the employees to provide meaningful notification and updates on new regulations, policies, and procedures, updates on previous communications, and instructor-led trainings

Qualifications
 

Qualifications 

Knowledge/Experience: 

·         5+ years in a control/risk management experience in financial services industry

·         Strong knowledge and experience of internal control principles

·         Extensive business experience or equivalent experience

·         Experience with creating, reviewing and implementing action plans to be executed by the business unit, involving other supporting units as needed  

·         Excellent Communication Skills

·         Aptitude in interacting with people across levels

·         Excellent Team Management Skills
