Job Description


Production Operations provides the single point from which we continually monitor infrastructure and application services, lead major incident response, and execute routine operational tasks. In addition, we are also responsible for consistent service delivery through best practice ITIL process delivery in the areas of Incident and Change Management. We are a team of more than 600 team members working out of multiple locations globally.


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person as a lead in our Command Center in Chennai. Candidates need to be ready to take on the challenges of working in a fast-paced, world class environment and ready to own strategic continual service improvement work across this organization.


The successful candidate will drive Production Operations Command Center functions regionally, including but not limited to:

•             Accountable for delivery of measurable competitive advantage for Production Operations and our clients through strategic proactive continuous improvement

•             Evidence created capacity is used to materially advance service offering scope and maturity

•             Deliver tangible progress across organizational KPIs

•             Proactively deepen understanding of our business, technologies and streamline processes to continuously improve ourselves and the service we deliver

•             Meet financial, headcount, infrastructure and consumable targets, delivering year on year productivity

•             Eliminate manual touches across all functions

•             Right-place all commoditizable work, leveraging our global team, improving employee / vendor ratio

•             Define and measure standardization across infrastructure, process and tooling throughout the lifecycle, eliminating non-strategic and driving adoption of Technology Strategy

•             Govern delivery against of our key initiatives and our Must Win Battles

•             Bring virtual teams across the organization together and lead execution of delivery to plan, ensuring owners deliver on their commitments

•             Produce roadmap and execution plans to support sustainable improvement, and reflect measurable progress against plans through strategic online reporting with clear baselines and trending, working independently and with our business management team to clearly present KPIs to senior management both within and external to our group.




•             Drive Production Operations Command Center functions

•             Build on the strong initiatives we have in place and work with our global team to set and execute our strategy to complement our 2020 priorities and beyond

•             Lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive successful change initiatives to deliver measurable competitive advantage to our teams and business, through direct and indirect influencing of resources and priorities

•             Work across both production operations, application and infrastructure organizations to execute on plans to clearly show progress through key metrics (baseline / trending) at a detailed and senior management level

•             Define and execute an effective communications schedule that informs all levels of the organization on priorities and progress

•             Engage stakeholders and data to identify opportunities for improvement items across all disciplines, whether within or outside of the organization

•             Work effectively across a diverse technology organization, using excellent communication skills to keep partners and clients informed on progress.

•             Provide leadership and mentoring of team members, providing them opportunities that support their individual development and improve performance

•             Full policy and regulatory compliance, with zero tolerance on housekeeping items and action on non-adherence

•             Actively contribute towards self-development by creating and following development plans based on development discussions and 360 feedback


•             Excellent communication skills required in order to guide, negotiate and influence, often at a senior level   

•             Broad knowledge of other functional and technical areas

•             Strong interpersonal skills and managing senior stakeholders both internal and external

•             Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams

•             Exhibit strong business acumen with ability to spot deviations from the norm

•             Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, programs or projects. 

•             Responsible for handling day to day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation within the team

•             Ensures timely and transparent communication to employees

•             Demonstrates commitment to diversity, internal mobility and employee professional development

•             Requires strong analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.  Applies ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and identification of opportunities 

•             Ability to influence and negotiate to facilitate change

•             Holds a degree of responsibility and demonstrates a sense of ownership for the strategy of an organization

•             Accountable for integrity of process, operations and end results

•             Ability to manage a successful risk/control environment
