APAC Cash Management Technology group supports payments, receivables, channels and commercial cards business across 18 Asia markets.

This is a technical project manager role in APAC Cash Management Technology team.  The candidate is responsible for the life cycle management of application development projects for TTS (Treasury & Trade Solutions) Electronic Banking applications.  More importantly, the candidate needs to work closely with various application development teams and solution architecture team to ensure the delivery of the projects is aligned with business strategy and architecture roadmap.


Job Scope:

  • Manage project life cycle for Electronic Banking Applications in APAC

  • Manage project scope, cost and schedule, and aligned with the processes of SDLC of application projects

  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine the resources required to complete the project
  • Develop a schedule that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review and revise the project schedule with senior management and all other stakeholders
  • Execute the project according to the project plan
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis
  • Write reports on the project for management
  • Communicate with sponsor as outlined in funding agreements
  • Monitor and obtain approval for project budgets and ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
  • Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis
  • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for funders as outlined in funding agreements
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
  • Conduct Project Steering Committee meetings with Sponsor, Senior Management and other critical Stakeholders




  • At least 8 year of in-depth banking experience with at least two full SDLC experience in project management, with exposure to electronic banking platforms
  • Proven track records in managing and delivering complex projects/programs in a cross applications, cross-business, multi-country environment – Asia Pacific experience is most preferable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment in institutional financial services, specifically with the Cash Management and Channels Delivery

  • Expert in Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Good knowledge on Domestic and International Corporate Payment Flows
  • Understanding on ISO 20022 XML, iDOC, Paymul Gen, CP2E formats
  • Good Knowledge on Internet Banking, Mobile, Tablet, API based banking applications including MFA and Cyber Security fundamentals
  • Hands-on technical experiences in Operating System, Database (Oracle, SQL server, Sybase), C/C++, Java, TIBCO, MQseries, etc.
  • PMP is preferred


  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or relevant fields
