OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – ADULT LEARNING DISABILITIES

£30,401 - £38,046 PRO RATA
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Occupational Therapist who would like to be part of a friendly integrated multi professional Learning Disability team within Argyll and Bute. You will be providing a service to adults with a Learning Disability across Argyll and Bute.
You must be a registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC and RCOT with recent knowledge of learning disability and community working. You will be working as a single health practitioner covering all of Argyll and Bute.
You will carry an appropriate caseload for your hours: providing expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of this specific individual group and be available to give advice and offer expert opinion to parents, family members, carers, care providers, local authorities and other health care professionals.
We require someone who has experience and can work in isolation and autonomously with a person centred approach, excellent people skills, and is experienced in working positively with other agencies, care providers, and health workers.
Clinical supervision will be provided by the Professional Lead as well as specialist OT supervision with other OT's within Argyll and Bute.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll & Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
