About The Job:

As a Cargo Contracts Officer, you will manage and administer cargo contracts throughout the network. You will need to draft, review, analyze routine contracts and facilitate the contract preparation, negotiations and implementation while ensuring maximum benefits to Qatar Airways.   

You will be required to maintain records and update all concerned parties on progress reports. You will be responsible to coordinate and consolidate comments from all stake holders and facilitate the signature process. You will also be responsible for coordinating CASS implementation throughout the network. 


  • Administer cargo contracts, contract forms, templates and procedures in compliance with company policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate the administration and signature process of standard Ground Handling Agreements, Trucking Agreements and Rental Agreements in liaison with the Cargo Service Team RM Team and Station Office.
  • Support the formulation and evaluation of RFP/RFQ process and facilitate the GSA and GHA appointment process.
  • Maintain and manage contracts database and ensure all contracts are up to date.
  • Assist in contract disputes and settlements.



About You:

You will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum 4 years of job related experience in the aviation industry of which 2 to 3 year of contracts experience would be preferred. You are expected to have good knowledge of the cargo industry, OAL practices and overall good understanding of cargo sales and operations.

Good command of written and spoken English Language is essential. You must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications is necessary and additionally you should be a confident and enthusiastic communicator with strong contracts administration and organizational skills.
