Candidates should have clinical expertise in mental health nursing attained through relevant experience and knowledge of current interventions. You will be self motivated and enthusiastic working with your own caseload under direction and supervision from senior Band 6 staff and team leader. All aspects of the work will be underpinned by your theoretical knowledge and evidence base, along with demonstration of skills and qualities required to successfully provide person- centred recovery focused interventions in the community. The team provides a service to adults experiencing a range of moderate to severe mental health problems. You will work within a MDT approach, with regular liaison within the team, with psychiatrists and with primary care. You will have the opportunity to delivering group work alongside your existing caseload. You will be supported within your role by formal and informal supervision arrangements and encouraged to develop new skills.
