About the Role
Deliver high level clinical consultation for consumers from CALD backgrounds including assessment, diagnosis and input into treatment planning, promoting application of evidence-based care, with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
Provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the mental health service, specifically around CALD consumer care. This includes the provision of mentoring to individual staff.
Contribute to the skill development of mental health service staff and key stakeholders to respond to CALD consumers by co-ordinating the provision of quality information and evidence-based education programs. This includes active participation in the preceptor program for students and new staff to the service.
Provide clinical practice support to less experienced practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within mental health service delivery to people from CALD backgrounds.
Contribute to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the range of clinical services and activities undertaken at the district level, including planning and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance service delivery for people from CALD backgrounds.
