Registered Nurse - Chronic Disease Ambulatory Care

The Chronic Disease Ambulatory Care position is based at Inverell Community Health 4 days per fortnight and Glen Innes Health Service 1 day per fortnight and performs a vital role in delivering a comprehensive service to the Inverell and surrounding areas. It provides the opportunity to work as part of an enthusiastic team, who work collaboratively together. This position is suited to a naturally compassionate candidate who is able to offer person and family centred care, is enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will need to have excellent communication skills with a strong focus on time management skills, work ethic and have the ability to work with people from various cultural backgrounds. 

Inverell is known as the Sapphire City and is a town in northern NSW, situated on the Macintyre river. It is a great place to live and bring up children. There are many sporting opportunities available, with unique shopping facilities. The main industry is farming and some mining. Inverell holds the Grafton to Inverell cycling classic every year and Copeton Dam offers camping, boating and fishing opportunities.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and  expiry date of your visa
