Where you'll be working

Concord is one of the premier teaching hospitals in NSW, providing secondary, tertiary and quaternary level services to patients and their families from across Sydney, NSW and Australia. Concord Hospital also provides a specialised state-wide burns service.
 
What you'll be doing

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The role of the Registered Nurse Instrument/Circulating is to work within a multidisciplinary team environment aiming to improve the patient journey through timely and appropriate assessment and care.

To Be Considered For This Role You Must Have:
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with flexible hours.
  • Post graduate experience in an Instrument/Circulating role.

  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
