We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.About the Job: As a Lead Schedule Planning Analyst you will provide all necessary assistance to the scheduling team with the freighter schedule; coordinate the freighter scheduling process by ensuring smooth coordination with Air political affairs, Scheduling and Qatar Airways Out-Stations for slot filing. This position is a specialized role and will be accountable for providing analysis and business reporting across the department. A proven track record of data analysis, metrics development and reporting as well as implementing improvements is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible to prepare seasonal (Summer & Winter) freighter schedule taking into consideration block hours, ground times, maintenance requirements, curfews, slots, contracted loads, short connections and commercial decision taken. You should have the ability to articulate business needs, conduct analysis, trend monitoring, lead implementation of new tools for the department and performance evaluation. .
Your scope of work also includes conducting detailed analysis of various freighter schedule “what if” scenarios and propose improvement strategies for future seasons whilst balancing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as cost, productivity, fatigue risk, and operational robustness
This role is essential to support the ongoing growth of QR Cargo hence you are required to explore new tools for the department and looking for solutions to automate the process
To be successful in this role, you must be able to offer minimum of Bachelor degree with specialization in Mathematics & Analytical Studies and technically you must have minimum of 5 years of job related experience. Knowledge of IATA and TACT Regulations, including AIMS application and training is essential.
You will need to have the ability to create and deliver solutions that meet corporate objectives and should have proficiency in Microsoft Office and must possess excellent communication and analytical skills, exposure working with large multi-cultural workforce and have the ability to delegate work, set clear direction and to deliver tasks within tight deadlines.
