THEATRE PRACTITIONER – ANAESTHETICS/RECOVERY
£24,670 - £30,742 PRO RATA
At the Lorn & Islands Hospital we require a Registered Nurse or ODP with a UK recognised qualification.
A minimum of two years experience within anaesthetic and recovery areas is desirable for this post, however training can also be offered to the right candidate. This post also covers an out-of-hours on-call rota for emergencies.
Some experience within ECT, Obstetrics and Paediatrics would also be advantageous.
In our friendly theatre suite we have one theatre and one endoscopy room where our three general surgeons, one oral surgeon plus local dentists and a visiting ophthalmologist offer a varied programme of, general surgery, ophthalmology, colorectal, laparoscopic, oral and dental surgery. In addition our surgeons also provide a very busy endoscopy service. We have three anaesthetists who provide an offsite ECT service and a monthly pain block session.
The patients who access our services are always very appreciative of the high quality of care and the personal attention they receive here. You could help us to maintain and improve this service.
