Band 8a Lead Biomedical Scientist-Biochemistry
We have a vacancy for the Lead Biomedical Scientist in the Biochemistry Department which is currently managed across 2 laboratories based at Queens Hospital Romford and King George Hospital Goodmayes run as one department.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced biomedical scientist with good managerial skills to work with an excellent team providing an efficient and effective biochemistry service to 2 busy district general hospitals.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate qualifications, be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a BMS and a proven track record of effective Biochemistry management. Evidence of continual professional development (CPD) will be expected to be demonstrated at interview.
Both hospitals offer a pleasant working environment and are well served by several bus routes and mainline stations nearby.
