BAND 6, £30,401 - £38,046 PRO RATA PER ANNUM
We currently have an opportunity to cover a period of maternity leave within the Patient Flow Team at Raigmore Hospital. We are looking for a Patient Flow Co-ordinator to join the team to support the daily management of pro-active patient flow through Raigmore Hospital by maximising the effective utilisation of beds, balancing the requirements of emergency and elective admissions.
The post holder will work with clinical teams to provide reliable and consistent information on a daily basis on the bed state to the Patient Flow Manager and Senior Operational Management Team. The post holder will also be required to work closely with Discharge Liaison Nurse colleagues.
As a Patient Flow Co-ordinator you will be required to work across 7 days providing a service between 0815hrs and 2045hrs. This post is offered on a fixed term, part time basis, 23 hours per week.
Our ideal candidate will be an individual who is highly motivated and likes to work in a fast, ever changing environment. You must have some understanding of patient flow and the desire to provide a high quality, patient centred service.
