As a Resource Allocator, you will support to maximize resources utilization, and provide the dynamic resource allocation plan liaising with the Operational shift in-charge, to optimally allocate the key operational resources (Manpower) on the day of operation. Work closely with Resource Planning Coordinators in ensuring leaves and trainings are well planned and would not affect operational requirements
Shift preparation - during the shift prior and/or at the start of the appropriate shift, taking into account the actual availability of resources (Manpower), re-check the pre-plan and undertake the detailed allocation of all resources ensuring that allocation is undertaken according to load.
Attend to all operational staff reporting sick for duty/ late for shift and ensure record for shift report which shall be submitted to Operational Data Analyst, Employee Support, Manager Roster, Manager Planning and Real Time, Resource Planning Coordinator and TM/DM on shift.
Communicate the resource allocation plan to the staff on duty by preparing/ printing the allocation plan for the shift and monitor the progress of the assigned tasks to the resources.
Ensure smooth handover to and from colleagues on shift duties, and covering for other departments or areas as required
You must have a Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent and preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Statistics or Human Resources and have at least 5 years of relevant experience that includes Airport Operations.
Any resource management and planning experience as well as knowledge of INFORM RealTime module would be ideal, however you will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and also have demonstrated experience in an airline operational environment to do well in this role.
You will have exceptional oral and written communication, be able to work under pressure, have proven time management and organizational skills, have high attention to detail, have excellent project management ability, be able to have a working knowledge of critical paths and be able to influence and negotiate with others fostering positive working relationships with all levels.
You will be required to work in shift patterns to ensure 24/7 coverage for operations.
