SENIOR STAFF NURSE (BAND 6) (Salary: £30,401 - £38,046 pro-rata)
We are looking for motivated & enthusiastic individuals to join our great team here at the Lawson Memorial Community Hospital in Sutherland.
The post holder has continuing responsibility for the management of the day case theatre and outpatients department within the Community Hospital in Sutherland. Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. As a Senior Staff Nurse you will have responsibility for supervising, training and deployment of staff in all areas of the hospital.

This Community Hospital in the heart of Sutherland is a hive of activity and our Nurses support the varied and exciting services offered here, including, in-patient acute GP led care, Rehabilitation Care, Day case attenders for PICC infusions, Chemotherapy, IV medications. We also provide nursing support for the Minor Injuries Unit, PCEC, Phototherapy Nurse Led clinic, Consultant Led Outpatient clinics, Specialist Pain Service and Minor surgical procedures via our Day-case procedure room and recovery suite.

This is permanent full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, working a rotational day/night contract, covering a 7-day rota as required. Job-share candidates will be considered.
