Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time up to 13-Jan-2021
Position Classification: Registered Nurse
Remuneration: 64184.86 - 90122.83
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: Randwick
Requisition ID: REQ140483

The Clinical Research Centre (CRC), as part of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), enables children to access novel therapies and innovative research in a safe, family-friendly environment.

At the CRC, our Clinical Research Nurses take a leading role in collaborating with clinical investigators and industry partners to prepare and conduct clinical research, including clinical trials, with children. As the primary interface between trial participants, families and clinicians, clinical research nurses use and build upon their communication, problem-solving and core nursing skills to deliver care through research on a daily basis.

As a research nurse you will:

• Predominately work Monday – Friday
• Have opportunity to develop clinical and research skills with support from a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE)
• Be part of ground breaking research following patients and families through a potentially life changing journey

These are full-time positions. Our offices are in the Bright Alliance Building on the corner of Alison Road and High Streets at Randwick and are just a 20 minute direct journey from Central Station via the new CBD and South East Light Rail.

If you are keen to pursue a career which offers the opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking, innovative international medical research with the potential to make a long-term impact on the lives of children across the world, we'd love to hear from you. While the ideal applicants will have both paediatric and research experience – if you meet the essential requirements and are excited by the possibility of working in clinical research you are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
