The successful candidate will be expected to posscess the ability to work autonomously, and bring strong leadership across two Emergency Departments within BHRUT. They will provide senior clinical expertise within the departments working in collaboration with the rest of the Specialty leads. They will be expected to lead on the professional aspect of emergency care, ensuring they are adhered to and translates into the delivery of a quality based experience for all patients within the Departments.
You will work as a valued member of the MDT in Emergency Care cross site, In conjunction with the ED clinical leads, specialty lead nurse and managers, the post holder will have the opportunity to evolve the provision of emergency care services for both adults and children to match the increasing demand and complexities of the service. Have excellent communication skills with children, their families, and the Multi-disciplinary team.
Our busy Emergency Departments cover two sites – Queens Hospital in Romford and King George’s Hospital in Ilford. We deliver a comprehensive range of general medical and surgical services, as well as children emergency care services to our local community. These departments are among the busiest in the country but does provide you with a wide range of opportunities for development.
The role also provides opportunities to work in collaboration with providers and services planners to meet the standards to ensure locally delivered, safe and high quality urgent and emergency care for infants, children and young people
